We are thrilled to present you with an exciting fundraising opportunity through Starlight that not only benefits your scout troop but also offers you a chance to engage with your community and have a fantastic time while doing so!
As a valued member of the scout community, we invite you to participate in selling single tickets for Starlight’s Broadway Series as a new fundraising opportunity that will directly give funds to your own troop.
Here’s how it works:
- Your troop will have a unique code which can be shared by you, your scouts, friends, and family for a discounted group ticket price to the Friday night performance of each Broadway title. The performances included in this fundraiser are:
Mean Girls, 5/24, 8 p.m.
School of Rock, 6/7, 8 p.m.
Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations, 7/25, 8 p.m.
Disney’s Frozen, 8/8, 8 p.m.
Life of Pi, 9/19, 8 p.m. - Starlight provides you with promotional information including copy for e-mails, graphics for social media, and more for you to use to get the word out.
- Starting May 1 to September 19, you connect with your community to sell tickets through the website link provided. Remember to have supporters use your unique code, so you get credit for the sales!
- Every week, you will be alerted to how much you raised. For each ticket sold, you receive money for your troop.
Exclusive Incentives: We’re offering exclusive incentives for our top sellers, including a $300 donation that will be awarded to the top-selling troop at the end of the season.
