Know the Show: Shrek the Musical

Fall in love all ogre again! Your favorite ogre and his trusty sidekick will take the stage this summer at Starlight for the first time. Join us July 26-28 for Shrek the Musical, the hilarious stage spectacle based on the smash hit DreamWorks animated film.  

Show Synopsis

Shrek is an ogre who finds his swamp being taken over by an evil ruler. To save his home, he must rescue a princess. As he sets out on his journey, he meets up with a sassy donkey, a fiery dragon, and a whole assortment of fairytale creatures. And the princess? She’s not so much in need of rescue. Shrek learns to deal with not always being in control and that sometimes the journey can be the best part!

Run time is 1 hour, 45 minutes plus a 20-minute intermission.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Show starts at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the show start at $15. General parking is included with your ticket purchase. Premium parking is available for $30 and must be purchased in advance.

Swamp Games on the North Lawn
Arrive early Friday and Sunday to play games on the lawn, including giant Jenga, bag toss, and Connect Four!

Sunday Night Meal Deal
On Sunday evening, patrons can enjoy dinner and a show with the code MEALDEAL. Each ticket purchased with the code includes a hot dog, chips, and soft drink. Available in the Plaza and Terrace. Please pick up your meal voucher at the Ticketing Services office when you arrive. Vouchers must be redeemed at concessions by 8:30 p.m.
