From Scranton to Kansas City, all of your favorite characters from NBC’s hit TV show, “The Office” are coming to Starlight Indoors when The Office! A Musical Parody takes the stage February 4-9.
It’s a typical morning at Scranton’s third largest paper company until, for no logical reason, a documentary crew begins filming the lives of the employees of Dunder Mifflin. From there, the unauthorized parody packs in all of the TV Show’s favorite moments in a hilarious, 2-hour, musical-comedy adventure. Featuring songs such as “That’s What She Said,” “Marry Me Beesly,” and “We Have Fun Here,” this sidesplitting parody lovingly pokes fun at everyone’s favorite coworkers.
The Office! A Musical Parody, continues to play to sold-out audiences Off-Broadway in New York City, and was created by the same dynamic comedy writers, Bob and Tobly McSmith, as Friends! The Musical Parody, Bayside! The Musical! and 90210 The Musical, among others. The source material and original TV version of “The Office” ran for nine seasons on NBC and was based on the British comedy of the same name.
If you’ve never seen “The Office” or if you want to brush up on your favorite episodes don’t worry—you still have time to prepare for The Office! A Musical Parody! All nine seasons are currently available to stream on Netflix.
