One Man Star Wars Trilogy on KC Live
The “Kansas City Live” set at KSHB-TV was visited this week by a guest from a galaxy far, far away. On Tuesday morning, January 26, Charles Ross, the star of One-Man Star Wars Trilogy, stopped by the studio to preview a short segment from his one-man show.
One of the first performances of One-Man Star Wars Trilogy was at the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2002. Ross’ notoriety quickly grew and, in 2005, he was asked by Lucasfilm’s to perform at Star Wars Celebration III. In One-Man Star Wars, Charles single-handedly plays all the characters, sings the music, flies the ships and fights the battles from the orginal Star Wars trilogy. The show has played 4,000 times in more than 500 cities across four continents.
One-Man Star Wars Trilogy opened at Starlight Theatre on January 26 and will close the theatre’s inaugural indoor season Sunday, January 31.
