With The Sound of Music rehearsals under way, Starlight Theatre decided to speak with a few of the actors to discover a few of their favorite things. The show’s star, Analisa Leaming, sings about her favorite things in the performance, but here are her favorite things were when she is out of character:

Favorite TV show Orphan Black. Incredible perfomances! Each episode is like an acting lesson, but all the while I’m biting my nails and on the edge of my seat. |

Favorite singer or song Audra McDonald. She is my hero as a crossover artist between opera and musical theatre. |

Favorite book or author I LOVE to read so I cannot pick just one. So my latest favorite would have to be Where’d You Go Bernadette. It’s a very unique and fun read. |

Favorite vacation spot or getaway The Smoky Mountains. After all, the hills are alive. |

Favorite mobile app My Kindle app is essential for reading on the subway in NYC. |

Favorite website Pinterest.com. I am planning my wedding (less than two months to go!) and I have been pinning everything from napkins to hairstyles to workouts for the last year. So fun! |
