Create your community at Starlight. Join us for Mean Girls, the twelve-time Tony Award nominated musical that gives a peek into ups and downs of high school friendships. “You’re in the band” with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical School of Rock, based on the hilarious hit movie. Disney’s Frozen makes its Kansas City premiere and shares a powerful tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and love. Dance to the story of brotherhood, set to the beat of The Temptations’ treasured hits in Ain’t Too Proud. Then, see an epic tale of adventure based on the novel by Yann Martel—Life of Pi—another production making its Kansas City premiere at Starlight.

Mean Girls | May 20 – 25, 2025
Direct from Broadway, Mean Girls is the hilarious hit musical story of a naïve newbie who falls prey to a trio of lionized frenemies, Mean Girls “delivers with immense energy, a wicked sense of humor and joyful inside-jokery.”
School of Rock | June 3 – 8, 2025
School of Rock – The Musical follows a failed, wannabe rock star who poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school to earn extra cash. There he turns a class of straight–A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band.
Ain’t Too Proud | July 22 – 27, 2025
Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations is the electrifying smash-hit Broadway musical that follows The Temptations’ extraordinary journey from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. All set to the beat of the group’s treasured hits.
Disney’s Frozen | August 5 – 10, 2025
Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When the magical powers Elsa has desperately tried to conceal from her sister take control, she flees into the mountains. As a ferocious winter descends, Anna sets off to find Elsa and bring her home.
Life of Pi | September 16-21, 2025

Season tickets are on sale now and available by clicking below, calling (816) 363-7827, or by visiting the ticket office at 4600 Starlight Road, Kansas City Mo., 64132. All Broadway performances begin at 8 p.m.
Season ticket holders may renew their five-show season now. New season ticket holders may also secure their tickets for the 2025 season now and will be seated after renewals are complete. Individual tickets will go on sale at a later date. Season benefits include the best price on tickets, plus exclusive benefits like free premium parking, a “weatherproof” season, dining discounts, and much more.
