Apply for Summer Internships by Feb. 26

The deadline to apply for a paid summer internship at Starlight Theatre is nearing. College students interested in learning about the inner workings of a professional theatre should apply by Feb. 26.

In 2018, Starlight’s Bob Rohlf Internship Program will offer a total of 15 summer internships in the areas of accounting, development/fundraising, education, facilities, group sales, horticulture, information systems, marketing, operations and technical production. Those hired as production interns will assist with Starlight’s self-production of the musical Hairspray, which takes the stage July 27-Aug. 2.

Starlight summer interns gain a multitude of new skills, learn in a hands-on environment, experience live theatre, concert and related events, and form new friendships with fellow interns.

Starlight has employed interns since 1984. The program was renamed in 2008 to honor longtime theatre President and CEO Bob Rohlf upon his retirement after 29 years at Starlight. The Bob Rohlf Internship Program was established with a gift and directive from Starlight benefactors Don and Adele Hall.
