April is National Volunteer Month

April is National Volunteer Month, dedicated to honoring volunteers in our communities and encouraging more people to become volunteers.

Since 1959, Starlight Theatre has assembled a team of volunteers that go above and beyond to ensure that any event at Starlight goes off without a hitch! In 2022, our volunteers were here to help for a total of 5,771 hours, which is valued between $157K and $172K. Without their commitment to our mission, we could not offer the same high-quality experience every time you come to Starlight. These volunteers are dedicated to our iconic performing arts venue and continue to show support by providing their valuable time and effort.

At Starlight, volunteers are not only a friendly face but an invaluable part of a guest’s journey. From greeting patrons at the door to assisting guests to their seats, our volunteers are always here to help. Other ways volunteers help out include:

• Guest Information Services
• Horticulture & Groundskeeping
• Ticket Scanning & Audience Assistance

We see the value of each Starlight Ambassador and want to make sure that they enjoy themselves alongside our patrons. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to see free shows while helping out, be a part of drawings for free tickets, gifts, and more.
