Starlight STARS of Tomorrow Make the Season Bright
You don’t have to wait until summer to enjoy a performance by the Starlight STARS of Tomorrow. The troupe is performing at several holiday events in the next few weeks.
The festivities kick off at Santa’s Wonderland at Gillham Park on Friday, December 12 followed by back-to-back-to-back performances at the Candy Cane Course at Starlight Theatre, Santa’s Wonderland at Penguin Park and Powell Garden’s Garden’s by Candlelight on December 13. The performance troupe will continue to spread holiday cheer throughout the Kansas City metro when they perform Santa’s Wonderland at Longview Tract and Crown Center’s Holiday Concert.
If you’d like to enjoy their singing and dancing talents, mark the following dates and locations on your calendar:
- Friday, Dec. 12 – Santa’s Wonderland at Gillham Park
The STARS will entertain at this annual holiday celebration hosted by Kansas City Parks & Recreation. They will perform at 6 p.m. Event hours are 6-8 p.m. Gillham Park is located at Gillham Road and 41st St. in Kansas City, Mo. - Saturday, Dec. 13 – Candy Cane Course Run at Starlight Theatre/Swope Park
After runners complete the 5K and 10K course, they will be welcomed at the finish line with a STARS performance in the Applause Club at Starlight. The race begins at 8 a.m. - Saturday, Dec. 13 – Santa’s Wonderland at Penguin Park
The STARS will perform at 4 p.m. Event hours are 4-6 p.m. Penguin Park is located at N. Vivion Road and N. Norton Avenue in the Northland. - Saturday, Dec. 13 – Gardens by Candlelight: A Luminary Walk at Powell Gardens
The STARS will help guests warm up after their stroll through the yuletide gardens by performing in the chapel area between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Powell Gardens is located at 1609 N.W. U.S. Highway 50, Kingsville, MO 64061. - Sunday, Dec. 14 – Santa’s Wonderland at Longview Tract
The STARS will perform at 4 p.m. Event hours are 4-6 p.m. Longview Tract is located at 7101 Longview Road in Kansas City, Mo. - Sunday, Dec. 21 – Crown Center Holiday Concert
Take a break from shopping to enjoy the STARS performance at 12:20 p.m. in Crown Center’s main atrium and food court area.
