As a nonprofit organization located in the heart of Swope Park, Starlight is proud to provide community engagement programming that reaches more than 30,000 Kansas Citians each year.

Through transformative education and training programs, innovative partnerships with community organizations, and essential free access initiatives, Starlight enriches the lives of participants and creates meaningful community connection.


Students

Starlight provides several educational training programs where young people can access professionals in the arts industry. Through scholarships, workshops, master classes, and internships, Starlight is proud to play a part in equipping the next generation of artists, technicians, and arts administrators.

Tech Theatre Training is designed to equip Kanas City area high school students with the skills and training that can lead to a fruitful career in the theatre and entertainment industries.
