Fun & Fundraising at After Hours at the Towers

Center Stage, the young professionals group of Starlight Theatre, will mix fun and fundraising at an all-new event at the theatre this month.

The inaugural After Hours at the Towers, which will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, April 22, is geared toward 21- to 40-year-olds throughout the metro. Designed as a younger complement to the annual Starlight Gala, the event will raise critical funds for Starlight’s college internship program.

The event draws inspiration from Starlight’s 2016 production of Bullets Over Broadway, which is set in glamorous 1920s’ New York. After Hours at the Towers guests will enjoy red-carpet treatment and be greeted with theme music, vintage cars and fun photo opportunities upon arrival at Starlight. Once inside the venue, they will listen to party band Lost Wax perform popular songs from today with a special ‘20s twist. Partygoers also will sample food from favorite local restaurants, sip on beer and wine, and enjoy surprise entertainment and activities all night long.

“This event is sure to be one to remember,” said Jenni Mann, chair of Center Stage. “But it’s more than an excuse to party. We hope to engage our generation in the performing arts and, at the same time, help to support the college students who will follow us in years to come.”

Net proceeds from After Hours at the Towers will benefit Starlight’s Bob Rohlf Internship Program, which provides paid summer internships for college students.

Tickets: Ticket prices range from $30 to $65. Buy tickets on or before April 13 to save! Click to purchase.
