Pretty Woman: The Musical Arrives on Broadway

Nearly three decades after its 90s silver screen release, Pretty Woman: The Musical made its Broadway premiere at the Nederlander Theatre in New York City earlier this month. Best known for her role in the film adaptation of Les Miserables, actress Samantha Barks stars as Vivian Ward, playing alongside Tony nominee Andy Karl, who portrays Edward Lewis. While the new musical follows the plot of the classic film, the addition of a rock-infused score is sure to delight the film’s original fans and newcomers alike.
