Taylor Gets to Know Jose Llana

On this week’s episode of Talkin’ With Taylor, Taylor sits down with leading actor Jose Llana, who plays the title role of The King in the national Broadway tour of Rodgers & Hammerstein’sThe King and I. Direct from Broadway, the Lincoln Center Theater production of The King and I was nominated for four 2015 Tony Awards and won the coveted trophy for Best Revival. One of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classics, The King and I tells the story of Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher who comes to Siam to teach The King’s many wives and children western culture, and features audience-favorite songs like “Getting To Know You,” “I Whistle a Happy Tune” and “Shall We Dance?”
