There’s Still Time to Attend ‘Class’
Before the final recess bell rings, “Sister” would like to encourage all Kansas City “students” to hurry to Starlight Theatre for the final weekend of Sister’s Christmas Catechism. This holiday mystery extravaganza, part of the Starlight Indoors series, has drawn rave reviews from Kansas City audiences – Catholics and heathens alike!
Sister’s Christmas Catechism continues at Starlight through Sunday afternoon, Dec. 18. After that, Sister (actress Mary Zentmyer) is taking her holy cards and humor and heading home for the holidays!
Audiences are truly laughing out loud as Sister stirs memories of school days long ago. Holiday tunes sung by the Starlight STARS of Tomorrow performance troupe and a re-creation of the living Nativity are highlights. And, of course, the intrigue of solving the mystery of “what ever happened to the Magi’s gold?” keeps interest high throughout the show.
Here are just a few of our favorite audience comments from our nightly surveys:
“’Sister’ was fantastic. What a memory she has. I haven’t laughed so much in a long time!”
“The evening was delightful and easy…no stress, no waiting, no lines.”
“What a way to kick off the Christmas holiday!”
And here some more we’d like to share.
